Honorary Members

On March 14, 2013 at the BICG AGM and conference BICG awarded Carl Berneheim, BICG Co-Founder and BICG Board member from 2009 to 2013, Honorary Membership of the BICG. Carl Berneheim was one of the initial founders of BICG, and a strong supporter from the very beginning. As a board member of BICG Carl Berneheim has contributed strongly to the Institutes success and overall goals. The support from Carl Berneheim has been instrumental in the development of the organization.

On March 27, 2012 at the BICG AGM and conference BICG awarded Phil Armstrong, Head of the Global Corporate Governance Forum, Honorary Membership of the BICG. Mr. Armstrong have been a strong and dedicated supporter of BICG since spring 2009, months before the establishment of the institute in August 2009. The support not only from Mr. Armstrong, but from his colleagues at the Forum have helped BICG to move faster and with a clearer direction.

On March 18, 2011 at the BICG AGM and Conference BICG announced its first ever Honorary Members. The BICG announced that H.E. United Kingdom Ambassador to Lithuania Simon Butt, H.E. Swedish Ambassador to Lithuania Ulrika Croonenberg-Mossberg, and H.E. US Ambassador to Lithuania Anne Derse together with Mr. Raoul Hasselgren became the first honorary members of the organization.

The totality of assistance, friendship and support to BICG from these four individuals are a key reason why the Institute today is thriving with members and accomplishments despite its young age said Kristian Kaas Mortensen, President of the BICG
